A Tree Fell Down in Brooklyn.

I was working in my little shop when I heard some commotion outside.
A huge tree fell down in the street! It knocked down a bike rider then fell on top of a car, trapping the driver in until it was removed.
It caused quite a commotion!

Mother Comes to Visit.

My Mother and her significant other came up from Houston, TX to visit me.
The S.O. had never toured NYC before so the three of us made a trip to Ellis Island then wandered around Manhattan the rest of the day.
It was an extremely hot day.

I love the look of this plaque. The type. The yellow showing through the cut-out letters. The oxidation.
It has aged well.

Coney Island

An old friend from home came to visit. We made a little trip to Coney Island. It was a dreary day... seemed like it was about to rain.

Independence Day

What a lovely 4th of July it was!
Picnic with chips, sangria & Mah Jongg.
And of course, firework watching atop our roof (no photos of fireworks though... unfortunately)!
